We installed French drains to protect the crawlspace, lowered the soil grade near the house, and installed a retaining wall to assist with the drainage. We also designed a new entry sequence from the side to the front door. The new retaining wall also allowed the creation of a new entry garden space. A side parking space was added for convenience. The new approach sidewalk is a much gentler slope than it was previously and allows a more enjoyable entry sequence as guests approach the front door.

This residence had drainage issues in the crawlspace. Water was threatening the foundation integrity and causing concerns about mold and mildew in the home. The home structure was under threat as the soil grade was too high on the wood framing of the home.
