After
We designed an erosion prevention swale that doubles as a stone walkway in the severe erosion area of the yard. We designed and installed 7 rain barrels in tandem for rainwater harvesting. We reset the stones and righted the dry-stack retaining walls. We built a stone walkway where the erosion had ruined their previous walkway. They have their yard back!
before
This residence is on a steep site. The homeowners were tired of the erosion across their yard washing away their topsoil and causing garden destruction, walkway destruction, and endangering their home’s foundation. Dry stack stone retaining walls were falling over. The homeowners are ecologically- minded and wanted to harvest rainwater from their roof in rain barrels for gardening use.
